Tape for the digital photobooks printing with panoramic spread

TechNova company at Drupa 2016 exhibition presented the polyester tape Novajet Laser Matte Opaque Film, designed for digital photobooks printing with 180 degrees spread. In Russia this technique is known as Flexbind.

Earlier on plastic double-sided prints were created by adhesive connection. But even the most modern ways of binding is not allowed to open the full spread. Most significantly this problem arises when the color printing with the use of high-density paper. In order the spread of photobook became flat, there were some efforts – it had strongly to press down the center of the spread, to open a book of more than 180º. Over time, such actions lead to the destruction of the back.

The polyester tape Novajet Laser Matte Opaque makes it possible to produce photobooks on Layflat (Flexbind) technology, which differ indisputable advantage: turning of book pages is made on a bend plastic slot, as a result, each page is able to be opened to 180?.
