“Pechatnik” installed color printing press

In 1904 wonderful Russian battle painter Vasily Vereshchagin made a stopover at Voznesenskaya station on the way to the Far East. At that time Vasily couldn’t imagine that soon the station would be renamed in his honor. Subsequently, a workers’ settlement became a small town Vereshchagino, Perm Region, where in the end of the century a private printing house “Pechatnik” started its operating.
The provincial town still lives its calm way of life. Industrial facilities are not big and presented by automotive repair plant, concrete goods production, bread-baking complex, knitting factory and agricultural farms. In 1993 Mr. Mikhail Tiunov built his own printing house and became its Director. He started with producing printed blanks, books and since recently the print shop involves newspaper production. By that moment the printing house already had in operation KBA Planeta and Heidelberg sheet fed printing presses, risographs, folding and pasting equipment. Closing of the city printing house and selling its equipment was an impulse for development of newspaper printing. All local newspapers were left without printing facilities, and “Pechatnik” decided to buy printing press POG-60. “We are used to solve production problems. For example, we print books even for Moscow,- sais Mr. Mikhail Tiunov. – Now our publishers need color printing. We decided to replace our old machine with new color printing press. We don’t have big orders for printing. We process 30 tons of paper per month and print 20 newspapers. This is our production volume.”
In the beginning of October, 2014 specialists of VMG Group service center installed M 360 printing press in the following configuration: printing unit 1+1 with unwind, folder 1:2:2, printing tower 4+4 with unwind. “After installation of the printing press VMG engineers provided training for our print workers who understood very quickly how it works and passed on to newspaper printing schedule by themselves, - said the Director of the printing house. – My employees catch everything very quickly”.
There are 8 printers and 60 specialists in other fields in the printing house. The team is very friendly and of course dedicated to technologies. We would like to wish local mass media to appreciate possibilities of full color printing, use and load the capacity of the newspaper print shop and to offer high quality products to their readers.
